Is it go time, or have you just peed yourself.. again. Towards the end of pregnancy, every twinge and discomfort leaves you panicking if you should grab the hospital bag, or hang out and continue watching the Handmaid Tales. These signs of labor, some obvious and some a little sneakier should keep you in the know.Your Water BreaksWhile this is a no-brainer, your water breaking isn’t always one of the signs of labor and that you’re about to have that baby, and need to rush to the hospital, Blues Brother style before you’re on the nightly news for having your baby on the highway. There is a lot to cause anxiety in the grand old U.S of A, but nothing about your kids going off to their first day of school, getting on the bus, or talking about staying in the study hall should have you reaching for the nearest brown paper bag to breathe into.Yet, that is increasingly the life of the American parent. She talks about her kids with such love and kindness, it makes me want to just hang out with her and meet them. Louis, who she calls Lou is wise beyond his years. “Lou is supersensitive. I call him my 78-year-old son. He’s like Shecky Greene, a Jewish Catskills comic. He’s wise and kind. I saw that when they handed him to me. There was a spiritual bigness to him” And, “Laila is just unafraid. She’s a fighter, and that’s the reason she’s here today. She fought to keep her spirit intact. Oh my god, what she is going to accomplish. She’s going to bring some real change.” In part of the interview, Sandra Bullock explained why she stays off social media, and it’s comedy gold. “Oh god, I would have one glass of rosé and be spouting off like [slurs voice], “This is not the truth!” I would have the “nuh-uh” column” And opened up even more about the ‘Time’s Up’ movement. Know the reasons why we bleed sometimes, and how to be able to know if itâs serious and needs immediate attention, or if it can wait until your next medical appointment. The great news is that while itâs pretty scary when it happens, spotting or light bleeding in the early days of pregnancy is not usually a cause for alarm. A lot of women experience spotting. DOWNLOAD THE RAISE VEGAN APPLE APP âThe vast majority of spotting is harmless,âsays Alyssa Stephenson-Famy, M.D., Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist at the University of Washington, Seattle. But bleeding, no matter how scant, can be indicative of a variety of complications, including miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, and placenta previa, and thus should never be ignored. Here are the various reasons you may experience bleeding during pregnancy, when to know whether you should call your doctor, and tips for effectively communicating your symptoms to your healthcare provider. Causes of bleeding during pregnancyImplantation bleedingWhen youâre four weeks pregnant, and when most of us have no idea yet, the fertilized egg will attach itself to the uterine walls. In doing so, it is âimplantingâ and will cause implantation bleeding. So if youâre actively trying to get pregnant, and notice spots of blood around ten days after sex, it could possibly be implantation bleeding and nothing to worry about, with possibly something to celebrate! DOWNLOAD THERAISE VEGAN GOOGLE PLAY APP InfectionInfections such as chlamydia or herpes can cause light bleeding. It is always best to have it checked on by a medical professional and have the infection treated. Exams by your doctorsGetting an exam by a doctor is sometimes uncomfortable, and can cause some light spotting within the day after the exam. If bleeding during pregnancy continues after that, I would suggest giving them a call and double checking. Sometimes bleeding during the first half of your pregnancy can be a sign of a more serious condition, however, such as:
